The Tri-Centric Foundation

The Tri-Centric Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that supports the ongoing work and legacy of Anthony Braxton, while also cultivating and inspiring the next generation of creative artists to pursue their own visions with the kind of idealism and integrity Braxton has demonstrated throughout his long and distinguished career.

The Tri-Centric Foundation's activities are supported in part by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, through the Doris Duke Performing Artist Award and the MAP Fund (also supported in part by the Mellon Foundation), the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, the Aaron Copland Fund for Music, MediaThe Foundation, the Charles and Cerise Jacobs Charitable Foundation, the Torsten Wiesel Commissioning Award, our individual donors, the board and membership of the Tri-Centric Foundation, and friendly experiencers everywhere.
