Anthony Braxton Recordings Collection
at Yale University Irving S. Gilmore Music Library

In September 2019, the Tri-Centric Foundation was awarded a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) in the amount of $28,925 in order to digitize and preserve over 700 audiovisual recordings in the Tri-Centric Archive. Upon completion of the digitization, the recordings were donated to Yale University Irving S. Gilmore Music Library so that they can be made accessible and preserved. The complete collection will be available through Yale Music Library in early 2023 however a small sampling of 10 recordings are available for listening and viewing right now. All are audio unless otherwise noted. The original collection of recordings were donated to the Tri-Centric Foundation by Anthony Braxton and Hugo de Craen, a longstanding friend and chronicler of Anthony Braxton's work.
